This five-star art nouveau-style hotel is named after Milan's first public swimming pool, which opened on this site in 1842. The pool has since been replaced with a garden and the first of the city's many summertime outdoor cocktail bars. The homely 1920s feel, apparent as you push through the revolving door, is period luxury - not faded grandeur. The large bedrooms are elegantly kitted out with antique furniture.
