As of the 2008 season, Teatro Franco Parenti is back in business at its historical headquarters on via Pier Lombardo. Director Andrée Ruth Shammah is renowned for tireless fund-raising and for producing a varied programme of quality: recently, lectures, dance, and works by Beckett and Thomas Bernhard.
