While the kids are distracted by the best new kids' movies to watch on Netflix in March or our list of the 50 best kids movies to watch as a family, treat yourself to some words of wisdom, beautiful images and funny parenting fails brought to you by awesome mommy bloggers (and daddy bloggers, of course). Here are nine blogs you definitely need to bookmark in 2015:

Selfish Mom (Amy Oztan)

Acclaimed as one of the fifteen post powerful moms on social media by Working Mother, Amy writes about finding balance between raising two kids (she has a boy and girl), her relationship with her husband and everything else life throws at her–and we think she's pretty funny. A quote to live by? "Martyrs don't make good moms."

The New York Mom (Maria Colaco)

From pretty product roundups and fun family trips to kiddie style and 20–minute meals, New York Mom Maria Colaco covers all the bases. She'll even give you the dirt on navigating holidays and family outings in the Big Apple.

Gay NYC Dad (Mitch Chaiten)

This cool NYC father shares funny parenting stories, celebrity interviews, contests and honest opinions on the hottest NYC issues—*cough* Common Core *cough*. His son also offers his own pint-size expertise when reviewing games and products, so you know they're kid appoved.

Romy and the Bunnies (Julia Restoin Roitfeld)

The design of Julia's blog is just as inviting as the content—she covers everything from mini street style (fashionable kids out on the town) to beauty, fitness and nutrition tips for busy moms. After all, why should kids get all the cool stuff?

Unruly Things(Alyson Brown)

Dedicated to fashionable folks around the world (both big and small), Alyson's blog curates the cutest new kids' products and the best accessories for men, women and the home. It doesn't feel like your traditional mom blog because it flows like an adult street style blog, and we love that.

The Glow (Violet Gaynor and Kelly Stuart)

Moms are fashionable, too. This mommy blog features stylish mothers and their kiddos in a format showcasing some of the most beautiful pictures you've ever seen. Feast your eyes on the prettiness!

8 Bit Dad (Zach Rosenberg and Bryan Ferguson)

Touted as the modern parent's source for fatherhood news, reviews and opinions, "founding fathers" Zach and Bryan broadcast funny custom videos, weird kid-and-parent-related news and pretty much anything else that'll make you laugh out loud.

Dad or Alive (Adrian Kulp)

This hysterical stay at home dad documents his funniest parenting moments with a "Dad's in Deep Sh!t" column, shares entertaining family advice and does some sweet giveaways throughout the year. Did we mention how cute his kids are?

Cool Mom Picks (Kristen Chase and Liz Gumbinner)

If you want to say "I'm a cool mom!" with confidence (we couldn't resist the Mean Girls reference), check out this whimsical blog that helps make life as a parent much easier. From the coolest gifts and DIY projects to makeup that'll last through a whole day of abuse from your brood, this blog is a must.
