Major talent of 90s pop, Beck’s fistful of albums – ‘Odelay’, ‘Mutations’, ‘Midnite Vultures’ – put him at the forefront of avant-garde pop, though this tailed off into the 2000s. But the multi-instrumentalist ahs kept his hand in, working with the likes of Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jamie Liddell and Thurston Moore, and providing the soundtrack to 2010 film ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’.
