For its ninth edition, the Festival Les Aventuriers will be bringing together fifteen or so of the most interesting pop, rock and electro acts of the moment, spread over ten days of partying in Fontenay-sous-Bois. A cursory check on Google Maps will reveal that – shock horror – you have to cross the périphérique to get there; but don't let this little detail put you off, if that means missing out on the likes of La Femme, Griefjoy, Ebony Bones and Peter Hook. And anyway, it's only two stops along the RER from Nation, to which free shuttle buses will ferry you back once the music's over – so despite what the name says, it's not only for the adventurous. Factor in €8 tickets for under-25s (climbing to €12.50-19.80 for older buyers), and you've got yourself an enticing festival. See you there!
