It took a dad-dancing viral video to propel this agreeably odd Baltimore indie trio into the limelight, though they’d been crafting their melodic, fluid punk-funk and arty post-pop (complete with synths, impassioned vocals and the odd birdsong sample) for years before that ‘SNL’ appearance. Catch them live at La Cigale, where charismatic frontman Samuel Herring will be belting out songs from their heart-tugging new album ‘Singles’, and hopefully busting out some sweet moves too.
