Tortoise

One of the most thrilling things about jazzy post-rock godfathers Tortoise is that they never play the same concert twice; everything is in constant mutation, from their instruments to their live show. Following a number of reissues celebrating 20 years of their label Thrill Jockey in 2012, the Chicagoans come to Paris for a rare gig as part of the Festival d’Automne. The band hasn’t had anything prove in a long time (side projects like Gastr del Sol, The For Carnation, Sea and Cake have kept them more than busy) but this October gig is sure to be sublime.
