With a hot new owner and chef on board, Grenadin Gourmand in the lovely Saint Augustin/ Courcelle area of Paris reopened its doors in September 2008 as La Branche d'Olivier. Having pleased Parisians with their super-stylish Liza restaurant, Karim Haidar and Stephan Balene now bring top-dollar contemporary Mediterranean fish and seafood to the capital. True to the duo’s form, La Branche d'Olivier is a very attractive minimalist space; these two do modern décor well. Take an eye-catching red seat and allow yourself time to dine on roasted king prawns and green corn, noix de Saint Jacques, fresh sardines and a whole lot more. Virtually all of La Branche d'Olivier wine list is available by the glass.
