Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Cosy it ain’t, but this hotel-restaurant offers a brilliantly hearty two-part Sunday brunch.

This reviews refers only to the brunch menu (Sundays at 11am and 2pm).

The blue-and-white brasserie-style façade of this hotel-cum-restaurant in the 12th arrondissement doesn’t stand out (and cosy inside it ain’t), but no matter – it’s got great atmosphere, smiley and hospitable staff, and the Sunday brunch is happily substantial.

Brunch is €28 and includes a large savoury plate, followed by an eat-all-you-like sweet buffet. On the savoury plate, are crunchy, salty fried potatoes, a well-seasoned oak leaf salad, a small bowl of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs topped with a slab of bacon, a muffin filled with goat’s cheese and vegetables, and either a special ‘muffin burger’ or salmon gravlax. You’ll probably need a little bit of time out after, but make sure to embrace the equally enormous sweet buffet. Spread across a number of tables set up near the counter, there are exquisite pastries, different fresh breads, chocolate, banana and pistachio cakes, fruit, cereals, brownies and much more besides.
