Even if it’s your first time at Les Délices de la Grèce, there’s a fair chance everyone will know your name by the time you leave. Such is the typically friendly Greek welcome on hand at a small deli that has fast become one of the Montmartre neighbourhood’s favourites. Being slightly off the beaten track seems not to have dampened the enthusiasm of either locals or out of town folk one jot, rather those who’ve had the fortune to find this charming traditional restaurant feel like they’re being let in on a particularly tasty secret. The humus, tzatziki, olive oil, yogurts and honey are all top notch, and the atmosphere so convivial that clearing the chairs away for a dance isn’t unheard of.
