Le Rouge Lime restaurant in Paris' 11th arrondissement between the Bastille and Place de la Nation is a relaxed cafe with a friendly welcome and a bubbling ambience. Decked out in red leatherette banquettes, mirrors, and general trendy style, this cafe serves food from twelve to twelve, perfect if your time zone is out of synch. The menus are a steal and the a la carte has much to recommend it: honest open grilled sandwiches that they call tartines, super salads, Argentinian steak with bearnaise and chips. Four sizes of wine by the glass and pichet, 16 to choose from. Free wifi and menus in English. You might just move in.
