Time Out says

Mathieu Gibault’s singular boutique sells a diverse array of rare paintings, decorations and accessories.

Every item comes with a story. That’s the claim at this colourful atelier/boutique from Mathieu Gibault, a passionate hoarder and seller of all things geek, kitsch and queer. ‘Dis Bonjour à la Dame’ is very much Gibault’s space: a place in which he can sell not only his own imaginative paintings, but also those of his friends from the 59 Rue de Rivoli art squat, as well as any other decorations and accessories that have taken his fancy. Some of the most original pieces include a pair of make-your-own slippers from Lasso (€39), a hand-stitched cuddly radish with a cheeky grin (€12-€35) and a glossy, plastic Virgin Mary figurine (€9). When you go, don’t forget to pop down to the basement, where many of the most eccentric gizmos are to be found.
