Korean artist Lee Ufan is a painter, sculture, writer, academic and co-founder of the conceptual art movement Mono-ha. He has become increasingly in demand in recent years, with big name institutions and events hosting his work: Documenta, the Venice Biennale, the Giggenheim and MoMA in New York. His sculptures can now be found in the gardens of the Château de Versailles, a year after those of the Italian artist Giuseppe Penone.
