The Nattukkottai Chettiar Temple is probably the most famous Hindu temple in Penang. Although it was founded in 1854, the structure you see today only dates back to 1935. Located on Waterfall Road, this Shaivite temple is the centre of the annual Thaipusam festival in Penang.
