Goh Huat Seng, one of the oldest Teochew restaurants in Penang has been in operation for more than fifty years and has changed little since its inception. It has installed new air-conditioning but its steamboat is still adhering to their original recipe of success- traditional pots heated over charcoal with clear chicken soup as the soup base and a plethora of ingredients including mushrooms, fish, prawns and noodles.
