This year's Heritage Celebrations remember the inscription of George Town as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. A celebration that spans three days will shine its limelight on George Town's living heritage, all artistically demonstrated through multicultural arts and dances, delicious food, traditional events that will surely ignite the proud Penangite and Malaysian within.
Several programs under this event include Indian dance and musical performance, heritage family night trail, a showcase of Penang's Malay heritage, a nasi kandar festival and even games to occupy the kids.
