Dr. Nadia Wright, author of 'Respected Citizens: The history of Armenians in Singapore and Malaysia' will refute five entrenched myths on the founder of Singapore, Sir Stamford Raffles. Two of which include his poor background and his need to dismiss Farquhar. Organised by Penang Heritage Trust, this talk and afternoon tea is limited to 30 people.
