This down-to-earth club used to host live acts of up-and-coming international bands, drawing crowds to its venue in club-packed Testaccio. At the time of writing, it had just moved to the northern suburbs. There's no room in the new place for live bands, making it unclear exactly what Zoobar's future holds. But the club continues to offer a steady DJ diet of pop, indie, Brit pop and '80s retro to a studenty crowd. Fridays are open-bar nights.
