A boutique of a baker's, where bread, biscuits and sweet and savoury treats vie for attention with a selection of speciality cheeses and preserves. The pizza bianca filled with mortadella is legendary - try it while leaning at the tiny bar, which is also the spot to down one of their excellent coffees. Opens 8am-2pm on Sunday in December.

one of the best places to have a light lunch or a snack. everything is good. pricey, though. don't go very late since it closes at 2:30 pm.

Even though the food is very appealing, I would advise all tourists to beware and protect their wallets and purses. My wallet was stolen by a pick pocket while I was in line to order our food. Was in my front pocket of my pants when I entered the store. I believe it was one of the waiters, who acted in a foolish manner when I informed him of what had transpired. He did nothing to advise management of what had happened, other than get on his knees a couple of times to see if it had fallen on the floor. SO BEWARE AND AVOID ANY DISTRACTIONS.
