The 'Room for Kids' on the fourth floor of Kulturhuset, the city's main cultural centre, is dedicated to activities for children aged up to 12. The beautifully renovated children's library is the main attraction; its carefully designed reading areas each cater to children of different ages and abilities, and contain hundreds of books in English and other languages. There's an arts and crafts workshop and internet access just for kids in the library. Daily events (in Swedish), such as film screenings, storytelling and poetry readings, are tailored to different age groups. Before you even step into the building, a traffic light - visible in the library window from Sergels Torg outside - warns visitors of potential queues: red means full, yellow means queuing, and green means no waiting.
