Flyt, located near the Slussen locks at the edge of Gamla Stan, is often packed to the gills in summer. The restaurantbar is made to look like an old steamboat, but is in fact nothing more than a decked out pontoon. Ironically the old Flyt - meaning 'Float' - sank during a hurricane in January 2005 and has since been replaced. Flyt caters mainly to tourists and locals who drop by for a few drinks on their way elsewhere. Hang out and watch as boats gather waiting for the locks to open.
