You can be as cool as you like about this slightly gimmicky attraction, designed by the people behind the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi in the far north of Sweden, but the minute you don your silver high-tech poncho and sip from your ice glass, you'll be giggling and snapping photos with the rest of them. This tiny sub-zero bar, maintained at a chilly -4°C (23°F), is in a corner of the Nordic Sea Hotel in Norrmalm. With 20 minutes of chilling usually enough for most, the turnover is high, and the chances for socialising therefore slim. Loud music and fine Absolut shooters (one included in the steep entrance fee) keep spirits high. The bar's maximum occupancy is 30. If you are part of a large group it's wise to book in advance.
