Medelhavsmuseet review Rate it

Artefacts from Greece, Rome, Egypt and Cyprus are housed in the Museum of Mediterranean Antiquities. Displayed in the main hall are a variety of busts and statues, while other rooms contain Islamic art, early medical instruments, ancient sarcophagi and a reconstruction of an Egyptian tomb. The Gold Room, a vault holding ancient wreaths of gold, is open between 12.30pm and 1pm or 2.30pm and 3pm. The second-floor Bagdad café serves Mediterranean specialities for lunch. The museum is worth a visit once you've seen the city's major attractions.
