The Museum of Architecture, in a long hall linked to Moderna Museet, displays some of Sweden's most famous buildings and architectural projects, including Stockholm's Stadshuset (City Hall), the Royal Palace and the five office buildings at Hötorget. Other models depict Swedish dwellings from 1,000 years ago to the present, and famous buildings outside Sweden. There's a glassed-in craft and play room for children at one end of the hall, and at the other a spacious room for temporary exhibitions on subjects such as national styles and globalisation. Worth a quick look for the finely detailed models, but try to come on Friday afternoon when the museum is free.
