This open-air café, situated right on the shore of Lake Mälaren, is the most picturesque spot in Stockholm to enjoy a latte. There's an excellent lunch menu, together with a choice of sandwiches, cakes and vanilla sauce-drizzled fruit pies. A new floating bar area has just been added if you fancy something a little stronger.

The designer furniture, elevated sofa deck, flowers and olive trees bring together the best Scandinavian design has to offer. It's Miami Stockholm-style with heated floors to boot. On the downside drinks are steep, starting at 125kr.

By day, the clientele is mixed. By night, the crowd gets gayer as the hour gets later.
