Time Out says

Billie’s 'Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour' is heading to Sydney for four big nights this summer

Billie Eilish sure ain’t slowing down any time soon. We’re still emotionally recovering from that performance of ‘What Was I Made For?’ at the Oscars, and now ol’ mate ocean eyes has announced a fresh new world tour to coincide with the highly anticipated release of her third studio album Hit Me Hard and Soft (set for release on May 17), featuring a bunch of Aussie arena dates. Starting in North America in September 2024, Eilish will embark on an Australian leg in February 2025, ahead of her European, UK, and Ireland arena shows.

Eilish’s catchy, genre-defying, neo-goth-esque pop music has been topping the charts ever since the release of her debut single 'Ocean Eyes' in 2016 when she was just a fresh faced 15 year old. She’s since accumulated nine Grammy wins, and if you haven’t heard at least one of her bops (or had an impassioned sing-along to ‘Happier Than Ever’) you’ve probably been living under a rock. Eilish co-wrote the forthcoming album with Finnieas, her brother and long-time collaborator, who also produced the album.

When are Billie Eilish’s Sydney shows?

Straight out the gate, Eilish has announced that she’ll be playing no less than four dates at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on February 24, 25, 27 and 28. We have been informed that no further Australian shows are to be added to the tour – so you oughta get in fast to avoid disappointment, that’ll be some bellyache.

When do tickets for Billie Eilish go on sale?

Tickets for Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour will go on sale Friday, May 3, and sales for Sydney shows open at 1pm. Presale for American Express Card Members begins next Wednesday, May 1 (while supplies last) and presale for Vodafone customers, Live Nation and Frontier members commences Thursday, May 2. Find out more and get ready to snap up tickets on the Ticketek website.

In keeping with Billie’s commitment to making a difference in the environmental impacts of her music and touring, a limited number of Changemaker Tickets will be available for the Australia dates. A portion of the proceeds from these tickets will support OzHarvest and other not-for-profit organisations in collaboration with Support + Feed, addressing the impacts of food insecurity and the climate crisis.

Fan participation + Sustainability efforts at Billie Eilish concerts

The Billie Eilish REVERB Eco-Villages will be set up at two locations in the main concourse of every show where fans can take part in the tour’s sustainability efforts, connect with nonprofits, and take meaningful action for people and the planet. Fans are also encouraged to bring an *empty* reusable water bottle or donate for a custom “RockNRefill Nalgene bottle” to fill up at the free water refill stations located at each venue, and to fight fast fashion by opting to wear thrifted, upcycled, or borrowed clothes instead of buying new clothing to wear to shows. (Sounds like it's time to hit up some of Sydney’s best op shops!)
