Black Forest Cruffin
This month's sugar-dusted cruffin offering is a black forest cake inspiration. Fun fact: the famously rich gateau from Germany is rumoured to have been invented all the way back in 1915. Well, the Lune wizards have proven some flavours just never go out of style, and have repurposed all those decadent chocolatey, fruity flavours into a delightful cherry jam and chocolate cherry mousse-filled cruffin. To finish, it's dusted with a light snow of chocolate powder, ruffled with double cream and flaked with creamy milk chocolate. Heavenly.
