In her petite café on Av. Diagonal, Elisa Teixidó offers simple, varied and healthy options every day. And she's getting great results in this part of town where spots like this are few. The daily dishes won't set you back more than a fiver, one of the stars of which is a crisp mixed-greens salad with nuts (sometimes walnuts, or almonds, hazelnuts or pine nuts), fruits like mango, papaya and quince different salad crisp leaves, combined with nuts, which can be nuts, almonds, hazelnuts and pine nuts, with fruit such as papaya, mango and quince, and a little help from some cheese.

On the chalkboard are the real surprises: Elisa's zucchini omelettes deserve all the acclaim they get, and you'll also find some meats and fish. There's always a starter, two salads, omelettes, quiches and one or two main courses (chicken with sauce or a burger, for example).
