Houseclass: Derrick Carter

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Derrick Carter first got interested in music when he was 16 years old and his hometown was shaking at full throttle on the house scene. His sessions are rooted in house, but he also dips into other styles that steer a bit away from the dance floor, like old-school disco, soul, jazz or whatever track he happens to like at the moment. He's the star DJ tonight at the CDLC.
