Africanism at the CCCB: Nakany Kantá + animated film + DJ Baba Sy

The CCCB and Radio Africa take you to Africa for three nights on their Patio de las Mujeres. Tonights events get underway with a concert from Nakany Kanté (10.30pm), who was born in Conakry (Guinea) and now lives in nearby Sabadell; she presents her second album, 'Naka' (2016), a mix of pop and mandinka music with touches of soukous, mbalax and afro-reggae. The night also features a screening (10pm) of animated films by African filmmakers and a DJ session with DJ Baba Sy (11.30pm).
