Blues & Ritmes 2014: Matthew E White

When American artist Matthew E. White debuted with 'Big Inner' (2012), 'Uncut' magazine saw a modern classic of Americana and 'The Guardian', a top artist who arrived on the scene unexpectedly. Soul, gospel and country are performed with a taste of the melodramatic, indie sensibility, and reminiscent of Randy Newman on 'Sail Away' or the warmer side of southern soul.
