Time Out says

Canadian Daniel Lanois, one of the most important explorers of the current rock sound, presents his latest album, 'Flesh and Machine' (2014) at this veteran music festival in Badalona. The album, which Lanois will present as part of a trio and with video projections made in collaboration with the New York Modern School of Film by directors like Atom Egoyan, Mary Harron and Jim McKay, signifies an artistic renaissance for the musician and producer. The visionary artist, a pupil of Brian Eno, has produced top albums like Peter Gabriel's 'So', U2's 'The Joshua Tree' and 'Oh Mercy' by Bob Dylan, as well as works by Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris and Neil Young. As a composer and performer, Lanois has published 11 albums since 1989, plus several soundtracks.
