LEM 2013: Aceite de Perro + Perucho's + Sei Miguel Unit Core

It's a triple bill in the Espai Jove La Fontana. Aceite de Perro (9pm) is a free improvisation duo with a highly idiosyncratic style for the extensive background of its two members, guitarist Ángel Ontalva (October Equus) and drummer/percussionist Vasco Trilla. Perucho's (10pm) are a living history of music that takes risk in Catalonia. Their concerts in the 1970s spoke more of a rock that was improvised more freely than jazz, reaching unheard of levels of noise. They come to the LEM festival on the occasion of the reissue of their only album, 'La Olla Express' (2011). Closing the bill are Sei Miguel Unit Core (11pm), a quartet led by Sei Miguel, renowned Portuguese trumpeter, bandleader and jazz composer.
