És_Festival

This festival of creativity is dedicated to the promotion of new offerings from Catalonia and Spain in the areas of music, design, art, photography, fashion, audiovisual arts and workshops. The festival lasts a month (Oct 2-31) and will take place between the two locations of the shop Colmillo de Morsa in Gràcia and the Born.

In the illustraion exhibitions you'll discover the very personal styles of Elena Éper, María Herreros and Coco Escribano; you can also see works by Mike Pascal (from Oct 9), and photographs by Ernesto Sampons, Christian Colomer, Mar Ordonez and Eskenazicursiva (from Oct 16).

The festival programme has a fun and formative side as well, where you can learn to use a punch needle (Sat 3), techniques to transfer images (Sat 10), stamps (Sun 11) and Mexican embroidery (Sat 24).

Rounding out the programme are the self-publishing fair (Sat 17); concerts with groups such as Sun Color, Noko Wai, Hal9000 and Dublabi; and Sunday vermouth sessions.
