Fantastik: Day of the Dead

On Thursday, 31 October from 7.30pm the shop Fantastik celebrates the Day of the Dead, Mexican style. This year the altar is dedicated to Sara Montiel, and there will be Mexican music, copla and micheladas, a typical Mexican drink made with beer and hot sauce.

Fantastik makes up part of the Route of the Altars that you can visit from the 29th of October to the 10th of November in some 20 places in Barcelona. Some of them are the Casa America (altar dedicated to the writer Jorge Ibargüengoitia on the 40th anniversary of his death), the Mercat Galvany, the restaurant La Cantina Mexicana (altar dedicated to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera) and the Koitton Club, which will have a requiem for celluloid.
