Blue Ribbon BBQ opened at Time Out Market Boston in September and if you are a BBQ fan, you need to add them to your list this Fall! The menu is filled with things like slow-cooked wood-smoked pulled pork, chicken, ribs and beef ends served with housemade sides, sauces and pickles! Whenever I visit a new restaurant, I need to know what the must try items are, so here are my top picks for Blue Ribbon BBQ.
Ribs
Depending on how hungry you are go for the 1/3, ½, or full slab of ribs, but no matter what you choose 2 sides to pair with the slow cooked meat. For sides, the mac and cheese and corn bread are must tries, but of course coleslaw is never a bad choice either.
BBQ Bowl
Looking for a tasty lunch that won’t get your fingers all sticky? Go for the BBQ bowl. Their take on a taco bowl, this meal is only $10 and will certainly fill you up. Grab lots of sauce to drizzle and you are in for a treat.
Beef Ends Sandwich
For a classic BBQ experience go for the Beef Ends sandwich. Also coming with a side, this is another belly warming meal that you wont regret.
Secret Menu Item!
If you are already a Blue Ribbon BBQ fan and are looking for something new to try go for their secret menu item the “Notorious B.I.G.”. This monster sandwich features pulled pork, sausage and beef ends all topped with slaw and sauce. And at $17 this is a steal for those days when you are extra hungry!
Banana Pudding
Last but not least, order a banana pudding anytime you need a sweet treat.
