Fearon’s—a neighborhood bar in the McIrish mold—has rebranded under the same ownership and now goes by the Temple Bar, an ode to the landmark Dublin pub of the same name. A fresh coat of red paint on the exterior and new furniture on the interior provide evidence of a remodel, but the neighborhood crowd and Murphy’s pints remain reliably in place.

There's a healthy mix of beer and bros at this Ashland Avenue watering hole. There's a shuffleboard table (but it's not free) and a pop-a-shot basketball game that doesn't really work.

Either way, it's a good spot to watch a game over some pints and sandwiches.
