Chicago looks like something straight out of Blade Runner in Max Wilson's vibrant time lapse montage of the city.
The video is a sequel to Wilson's first endeavor to capture the city via time lapse in Windy City Nights. This second rendition, Windy City Nights II (above), is a much welcome follow-up that feels more dynamic, with the camera panning among buildings and between traffic. In these short five minutes, the city really comes alive.
To be sure, the footage has almost certainly been altered. However, the adjustments and color saturation seem more like flourishes to a love letter than easy tricks. You can tell Wilson really worked to flesh out the best qualities of Chicago's skyline and beyond.
