Buzz, buzz. That’s the sound of a free facial hair trim coming your way, Chicago. Even better, that wondrous tune-up for your goatee, mustache or beard is for a good cause.
When those of you with facial hair visit the leading grooming company Wahl’s 30-foot mobile barbershop at Navy Pier this Friday, Wahl will donate $1 to ZERO, a nonprofit working to end prostate cancer. Wahl is visiting what it and a team of experts have deemed the top 10 Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities in America, and Chicago just so happens to rank seventh (we ranked fourth last year).
Master barbers will also be on the lookout for the best looking scruff on Friday, as they search for someone to call the Wahl Man of Chicago and award $500. That lucky guy will then compete for the bold title of Wahl Man of the Year. If you haven't done so already, you might want to check out one of the city's best barber shops to prepare.
The experts will also dole out advice on facial hair trends and grooming no-nos.
