The owners of the Laugh Out Loud Theater, a nearly decade-old comedy venue in suburban Schaumburg, are opening a second location in the city proper. Laugh Out Loud Chicago, located at 3851 N Lincoln Ave (next door to Martyrs), will have its grand opening this weekend.
LOL specializes in short-form improv (think games in the style of Whose Line Is It Anyway?) and will have two flagship shows a night on Fridays and Saturdays; the 7:30pm performance is family-friendly, while the 9:30pm can go blue. Additional shows will be added down the line, beginning with Buzzed Broadway, which incorporates elements of musical improv and drinking games. The theater has a full bar, but no drink minimum. Laugh Out Loud will also offer classes.
