The already super-packed Chicago International Film Festival has announced its closing night selection to wrap up two weeks of internationally acclaimed features, buzzworthy indies, documentaries and shorts later this month.

With Oscar contenders like Carol, Where to Invade Next, 45 Years and Palme d’Or-winning Dheepan, the festival adds another heavy hitter, showing Spotlight on its final night. The film, starring Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams (and many more notables) delves into the true story of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe investigation of abuse cover-ups by the Catholic Church. Oscar nominated Tom McCarthy (The Station Agent, Win Win) directs the highly anticipated thriller that will close out the 51st Chicago International Film Festival on Thursday October 29.
