Your Starbucks drink will cost more starting today

Starbucks has a devoted following of customers who rely on the chain for their caffeine fix. Starting today, the massive Seattle-based coffee company will raise its drink prices by up to 20 cents.

The price of a "tall" coffee is set to rise by 10 cents in Chicago, and the 20 cent increase will affect some of the other already overpriced drinks on the menu. In case you forgot, a "tall" is actually a small at Starbucks. Even more confusing is the "grande," which is a medium.

Local coffee lovers don't necessarily have to deal with a price increase for their coffee. Chicago is full of amazing coffee shops, many of which are serving up delicious new iced coffee drinks this summer. If all else fails, you should just go to Dunkin' Donuts. The coffee there is far superior to Starbucks anyway.
