FRI 1
It’s National Doughnut Day, and if you’re willing to travel to the nearest Krispy Kreme (412 E Devon Ave, Elk Grove Village), you’ll snag one free doughnut of your choice. And if you’re not—well, hopefully there’ll be short lines at Do-Rite Donuts, Glazed and Infused and Doughnut Vault.

SAT 2
Grab your walking shoes and some tofu: The Chicago Veggie Pride Parade is taking over Grant Park. Events “celebrating the lifestyle” include a costume contest, speakers and lots of fiber. Balbo Ave and Columbus Dr. Noon.

SUN 3
Chicago Cut’s lobster boils start now: The weekly seafood feast includes wine and Champagne, and this week (the kickoff party), 100 percent of the proceeds go to Children’s Memorial Hospital. 300 N LaSalle St (312-329-1800). 2–5pm; $50. (10am– 2am; $35 every week hereafter.)

MON 4
People love burgers. And people love, um, fests. So Rockit’s Burgerfest is a total no-brainer. Today’s featured burger: the veal saltimbocca burger ($12). Through Jun 8. Rockit Bar & Grill, 22 W Hubbard St (312-645-6000), and Rockit Burger Bar, 3700 W Clark St (773-645-4400).

TUE 5
Clams, corn on the cob, roasted potatoes, watermelon salad. Yup, you guessed it: Fulton’s on the River is throwing an authentic, East Coast–style, all-you-can-eat clam bake. Bonus: It includes two tall boys of Daisy Cutter. 315 N LaSalle St (312-822-0100). 5–8pm; $35.
