Blind Faith Café This is where to bring your hippie mom—either for brunch or for dinner—to meet other hippie moms. Dream catchers not included. 525 Dempster St, Evanston (847-328-6875). 9am–3pm brunch menu; 3–9pm dinner menu. Average main course: $12.

Due Lire The backyard garden patio sounds pretty swank (that is, if you can get a seat); so does the three-course Mother’s Day menu. 4520 N Lincoln Ave (773-275-7878). 12:30pm–9pm; $35.

Elate Tack $20 to the price of a brunch entrée (such as banana custard French toast), and Mom can get a little tipsy on bottomless mimosas. 111 W Huron St (312-202-9900). 10:30am–2:30pm. Average main course: $12.

Filini Bar and Restaurant So Mom’s not the buffet type? Don’t sweat it. This à la carte brunch menu has eggs Benedict Florentine, grilled lamb chops and mascarpone cheesecake. 221 N Columbus Dr (312-477-0234). 11am–2pm; average main course: $19.

Francesca’s on Chestnut The toughest part of Mom’s brunch here will be choosing between the smoked salmon omelette, the eggs Benedict and the fried eggs with spicy pesto. 200 E Chestnut St (312-482-8800). 11am–3pm. Average main course: $13.

Fulton’s on the River Fresh-baked cookies and banana cream pie “shots” are only two of the reasons Mom will spend the majority of her brunch at the dessert table. 315 N LaSalle St (312-822-0100). 10am–3pm; $59.95, kids 12 and under $24.95.

Lockwood This brunch buffet has unlimited sparking wine. We will repeat that: unlimited sparkling wine. 17 E Monroe St (312-917-3404). 11am–4pm; $65.

Mercadito The complimentary mimosa for Mom will come in handy while the rest of the family argues over which three dishes to choose at this family-style brunch. 108 W Kinzie St (312-329-9555). 11:30am–4pm; $13.50.

Mercat a la Planxa Your mom will like the three-course Catalan-inspired brunch menu. But she’ll really like the bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas for $8. 638 S Michigan Ave (312-765-0524). 10am–3pm; $35.

Mrs. Murphy and Son’s Irish Bistro Moms who like chocolate belong here, where the crown jewel of the brunch buffet is a chocolate fountain. 3905 N Lincoln Ave (773-248-3905). 9am–3pm; $24.95, kids 10 and under $9.95.

Sepia We could recommend many items that are on this Mother’s Day brunch menu, but let’s be real: Mom’s gonna go for the crunchy French toast with whipped mascarpone and warm berry compote. 123 N Jefferson St (312-441-1920) 11am–2pm; $45, kids 12 and under $25.
