Chris Cornell

It's been tough to watch Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell flounder in his various attempts at pop stardom. (The tepid Audioslave was one thing, but Cornell's 2009 Timbaland-abetted Scream disc represented a new low.) Even though Soundgarden is back together, Cornell is still working the solo angle as an acoustic troubadour, performing stripped-down renditions of songs from his entire career.
