Though they have a heavy hand with the tahini here (the hummus tastes more like sesame seeds than garbanzo beans), the kebabs at this strip-mall joint are among the best in this area (and considering it’s the apex of the Middle Eastern scene, that’s saying something). The kefta kebab is where the grillman excels, but the chicken and steak kebabs (as well as the shawarma) are equally juicy, well-seasoned affairs. Of course, it’s natural to want hummus, baba, spinach pies, etc., with this food, but stay focused—that’s what the other joints on this strip are for.
