Head pasta “puttana” Jessica Volpe wears her title with pride, and for good reason: Her storefront location is the result of massive success at the farmers’ markets with luring shoppers to her stand for ribbons of fresh pasta. The West Town shop revolves around these pastas, which range from standards such as whole-wheat linguine and classic egg noodles to seasonal specialties packed with herbs and/or veggies (be on the lookout for the wild mushroom fettucine). Other items that round out the shop are chosen to pair with the noodles, making for one-stop shopping come pasta night.
