[title]GUILTY AS CHARGED For brother-and-sister team Nina and Nino Ottolino, a cheesy pickup line—“If looking good were a crime, you’d be guilty as charged”—inspired a felon-tinged twist at their family-run West Town hair salon–cum–photo studio. Riding out the prison theme, Nina snaps a mug shot of every client posthaircut or color and posts the photo on Facebook. Photo ops go beyond Facebook, too. Clients who come in to Shear Conviction for any hair service with one of the four stylists can lop $50 off a 30-minute photo session (normally $100 for 30 minutes) with Nina, who ran a photo business during college shooting mostly models and actors. Body waxing and makeup applications are also available.
