As the artistic director of Rasaka Theatre Company and an artistic associate with Silk Road Rising, Jadhwani has been a force in imbuing Chicago's theatrical spectrum with South Asian perspectives. She crafts cohesive environments for pieces as different as Rajiv Joseph's Gruesome Playground Injuries and Steve Martin's adaptation of Carl Sternheim's The Underpants. Her professional output has slowed of late as she pursues a master's at DePaul's Theatre School, but over the summer she helmed two intriguingly transformative takes on Shakespeare: A Beach Blanket Bingo–style Twelfth Night for Oak Park Festival Theatre and a Bollywood-ized Much Ado About Nothing for Rasaka.
