KakiSENI Festival: Durian Beckett

Known primarily for his Nobel Prize in Literature-winning feat in 1969 and his legendary play ‘Waiting for Godot’, Irish playwright, novelist, theatre director and poet Samuel Beckett was a man of many talents. This Pentas Project production delves into Beckett’s catalogue of critically acclaimed short plays, which offer a dark comedy-tinged outlook on life. Directed by Loh Kok Man, ‘Beckett Shorts’ pays tribute to the Theatre of the Absurd luminary with an intriguing piece that blends literature, drama, music and multimedia.
